The action flick transports you to a world where ‘time’ has literally replaced money as currency.

Timberlake stars as Will, an almost broke worker who meets Sylvia (Seyfried), a rich heiress. The two are fugitives and embark on a journey that is fraught with danger and excitement, to escape the law and bring down the corrupt system.

Director Andrew Niccol’s skill in bringing together big action set pieces and big ideas in unexpected ways, in fantastical yet recognisable worlds is in full evidence in the film. “‘In Time’ is an action thriller,” Niccol points out. “I think people can enjoy it on that level. They will go for the stunts, action, car chases and to see Amanda Seyfried wielding a gun, which she does brilliantly.”

Timberlake says, “There are so many elements that make this film really cool. The design has a lot to do with that — from the special effects to the costumes and the entire world that Andrew created. But at the end of the day, it’s an underdog’s story. It’s a hero’s story and it’s really about the human condition. I think it’s an emotional film at its core and I’m proud to be a part of it.” The fast-paced thriller released on November 4.
