The cash which was stolen from a car belonged to Arjuna Sauharda Cooperative Society in Malleswaram.
On Thursday, the police questioned as many as 20 persons including the car driver Krishnaiah and the bank clerk Anand. “We have constituted three teams drawing officers from Jayanagar, Siddapur and Basavanagudi jurisdictions,” said ACP Manjunath,
Jayanagar sub division.
Late Wednesday afternoon, two miscreants diverted the attention of Krishnaiah, the cab driver, suggesting that a wheel was punctured. A bag containing Rs 45 lakh cash kept in the backseat of the car was stolen, when Krishnaiah and Anand got down to check the wheel.
