Man kills daughter in Chandigarh

The accused — Dhana Ram — was reportedly in an inebriated state and fled soon after the crime. His daughter lay in a pool of blood in the house.

After attempting to rape, the father hit her daughter with a pan six times on the head which crushed the skull of the child. He then hit his daughter with a sharp knife to end her life. The mother of the deceased daughter and Dhana Ram’s wife Reeta brought the incident to the notice of the police today. In fact, she is the complainant in this case.

The police has launched a search operation to nab the accused. The child’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
