Air chief to visit Bangalore

This is his maiden visit to Bangalore after taking over as Chief of Air Staff. During his visit, he will address Station Commanders of various Units of Training Command on November 17, and will be the chief guest at the 51st ISAM (Indian Society of Aerospace Medicine) conference at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine on November 18.

The aim of the Station Commander’s conference is to interact with the Commanders and discuss various issues and aspects related to the Training, Administration and Maintenance.
The focus will be on review of the training needs to meet the challenges of new acquisition of aircraft and  weapon systems, and also to sensitise the Commanders about cyber security, internal and external security issues.

The thrust of the conference would also be on enhancement of the Human Resources Management, so that an Air Warrior would be able to seamlessly integrate into the operational environment of the future, with a high standard of requisite professional capabilities and skills with a high sense of satisfaction.

The Chief of Air Staff is accompanied by Kiran Browne, President Air Force Wives Welfares Association (AFWWA), who will pay a visit to Umeed Asha Kiran School, for the differently-abled children and discuss various welfare measures being undertaken in the Training Command.
