Two devotees met a watery grave while taking bath in the river at Mantradi in Nellikaru Gram Panchayat limits.
The deceased are Sadananda (31), son of Gulabi in Daregudde and Lokesh (35) of Mantradi.
The two had been to take bath in Phalguni river at Mantradi. In the second incident, another devotee, Satish Devadiga (21), drowned while taking bath at Ramasamudra in Karkala.
The fire and emergency services personnel were rushed to the spot.
