The Delhi Police have announced a reward of Rs15 lakh to help nab Bappa.<br /><br />Bappa married Zahida, Khanum’s eldest daughter, in April this year. “My husband Irshad told me that Bappa worked in his factory. He also stayed in our house on rent and later, when we married off Zahida to him, they both lived on the first floor of our house as he had no place to live,” said Khanum. <br /><br />Keen on marriage<br />Her husband was very keen on marriage while she had reservations. Khamum said Bappa lied about his name, his past and profession. And Zahida had no inkling about his real activities. <br /><br />“I am sure my husband is innocent and must have been lured by this man whom we called Shahrukh,“ said Zahida.<br /><br />“My daughter knows nothing and he hardly spoke to her,” said Khanum.<br />Khanum and Irshad have10 children. With Irshad, the sole earning member of the family, now in the police custody, Khanum faces an uphill task of bringing up their children now. “I am left with just Rs 1,000,” she said.<br /><br />Allegation on police<br />She alleged that the police took away Rs 30,000 kept in the house when they came looking for Bappa.
