<p>Shamsheeda was in love with Kashyap, a young hindu boy, who lived in the house opposite her’s. Once she had eloped with Kashyap and returned after 15 days. Enraged by her insistence, her brother Shamshu slit her throat with a sharp-edged instrument.<br /><br />Shamsheeda’s father had died and she lived with her mother and brother. Kashyap often visited their house but no one had any idea about the young couple’s relationship.<br /><br />An inter-religious love affair, thus, met a tragic end.
