Saket’s Select Citywalk Mall is all set to offer an extravaganza to Delhiites with its whooping 35 feet high Christmas tree in the heart of the mall with various fun activities in the offing.

Every corner of the mall will be lit up to invite Santa this Christmas! Candy canes, pinwheels, Santa caps, arc lights and Christmas baubles will all be adding the glitz and shimmer to the décor.

Visitors can look forward to a double Christmas fiesta promised with two Christmas markets and a “Chrismatic Kids Carnival” at the hangout zone. The first market from December 14 to 18, starting noon till 11 pm will be set up with the idea to bring to the customers a wonderful Christmas spirit via music, food and gifts. The gifts will include Christmas pots and garden accessories along with the most sought after Christmas cakes and cookies.

Hot waffle stations can be enjoyed in the backdrop of carols and live bands. On this festive note, one can also stop by at “Gift a Home to Homeless Puppies” a kiosk put up by People for Animals.

The second market will be held on December 21 and 22 with TJ’s Bazaar (market set up by Tihar jail inmates) and Select Citywalk’s Flea@Nite. A wide variety of bakery delicacies, breads and cookies, handloom and textile, apparels, paper products, paintings, furniture, spices and much more will be available.

Neeraj Ghei, director, Select Citywalk says, “In an effort to illuminate the lives of those who live in darkness, we invited the children from the Janta Adarsh Andh Vidyalaya (blind school) to light up the symbolic glow tree. With just a signature, people pledged to donate their eyes and brightened up the lives of many children who are visually impaired.”

The much awaited ‘Chrismatic Kids Carnival at Hangout’ will be dedicated to the young ones to sink in the spirit of Christmas and celebrate the joys of the festival from 11 am to 9 pm.

The fun and excitement will double fold with animated Santas and Christmas trees.
Hourly performance by ‘Montu and the Gang’ and other live performance are sure to make the Christmas full of gifts and surprises this year.

Sneha Sharma, a customer at the mall says, “Last Christmas I visited the mall with my relatives from abroad and we had a gala time as we could leave the kids at the hangout zone and enjoy shopping.”
