‘Legislator misbehaved’
However, BJP MLA from Shimoga rural K G Kumaraswamy refuted the charges levelled by the Congress.
“The allegations are baseless. It was Congress MLA Sangameshwara who misbehaved with the officials. A complaint was registered, as the MLA slapped the officials. Sangameshwara had behaved rudely with tahsildars in the past too. The government should act only after duly verifying the facts,” said Kumaraswamy.
