“We have not been able to ascertain what exactly drove Vishal Yadav (29) take the extreme step. The reason could be ill-health, disillusionment with life, love angle or ill-treatment from higher ups,” said Madivala Sub-Division ACP S Y Guled. “We have already questioned two officials working with the HR Department, friends and colleagues of Yadav. They told that he was an introvert and had not shared much details of his personal life. He was close with a woman colleague. The police will question her on Saturday, he stated.
The police collected call details of Yadav’s mobile phone and recovered one laptop and a few personal things from his house. Yadav had applied for sick leave since June 5. He was on loss of pay after exhausting the sick leave.
He had communicated this via mail to HR Department and his higher ups. Even his parents failed to understand why he decided to end self. Yadav jumped to death from the fifth floor of his office in Electronic City on Wednesday night.
