Aiyappa, Zeeshan sparkle in Vijaya Bank victory

KM Aiyappa and Zeeshan Ali Syed starred with the bat as Vijaya Bank overwhelmed Central Excise & Customs by four wickets in the Dell KSCA Group II, Division I Super League match on Friday.   

Batting first, Central Excise posted a huge total of 313 for six in 50 overs, powered by Devraj T Patil’s 135 and Sandeep AN’s 91. Vijaya were propelled by Aiyappa’s unconquered 92 and Zeeshan’s unbeaten 72 as they reached the target in the 49th over.
