<p>A young couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train near the railway gate on Savalgi Road on the outskirts of the city Tuesday morning.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Yellalinga Honnappa Natikar, 31, an auto driver and resident of Siddhartha Nagar, and his ladylove Bharati Hosamani, 18, a student of the Government PU College and resident of Sharana Sirasagi Maddi, are the dead.<br /><br />Sources said Yellalinga, who used to drop Bharati to her residence, was in love with her for the past two years. <br /><br />They were upset when their parents opposed their marriage plans as Yellalinga belonged to the backward Kabbaliga caste and Bharati belonged to a Scheduled Caste. A case has been registered at the Wadi Police Station and investigation is on.<br /><br /></p>
