Youth found murdered

A 25-year-old man from UP was found murdered in east Delhi on Sunday, police said.
Gaurav Kishan, who was living as a tenant at a house in Shashi Garden in Pandav Nagar, was found lying in a pool of blood near Jeevan Anmol Hospital in Mayur Vihar
Phase-I.

“A passer-by called police at 8.30 am that a man was lying in a pool of blood.
“He was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead,” said a senior police officer.

Police said there were injuries on his head and face, and strangulation marks on his neck.
“We suspect that he may have been hit with a blunt object and then strangled,” said the officer.

Gaurav Kishan, whose hometown is Lucknow, was working with a telecom company in Gurgaon.

During preliminary investigation, police found that on Saturday afternoon he returned home from work and then left the house an hour later. He did not return at night.

“We suspect personal rivalry or robbery to be the motive,” said the officer.The body has been sent for post-mortem at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.

The efforts are on to nab the people behind this, police said.
