The Special Task Force on Wednesday arrested an allegedly notorious criminal with a cash reward of Rs 50,000 on his head from Korba district of Chhattisgarh.
Pankaj Pandey, sharp shooter of underworld don Mukhtar Ansari has 16 cases of murder, dacoity and loot registered against him.
He is wanted in four of the cases, police said. His accomplice Shashikant Giri alias Putu Giri is also named in 16 cases, police said.
