The recently concluded three-day Business Summit ‘INBUSH 2012’ (International Business Horizon) organised by Amity International Business School (AIBS) and Amity Global Business School (AGBS) witnessed participants from India and abroad representing leading companies, MNCs, foreign banks and export promotion     councils.

The three-day summit was held at Amity University Campus in Noida and was the 14th in succession of conferences held over the years since its inception.
The summit was based on the theme ‘Building Spiritual Quotient, Emotional Quotient and Human Quotient along with Physical Quotient is essential for creating a world-class global organisation’.

The first day of the event was celebrated with colourful cultural programmes and several companies and institutions were also awarded with corporate and academic excellence awards.

Dr Gurinder Singh, pro vice chancellor, Amity University and director general, AIBS said, “The purpose of ‘INBUSH 2012’ is to ignite a fire of determination in all the budding managers.” He added, “Education is revolutionary and it is only through quality education that humanity can witness a positive change.” Anil Gupta, chairman and managing director, KEI Industries also shared his success story, along with various other industrialists.

A question and answer session was held with the panelists, which covered various queries like ‘How should companies adjust to the changing corporate culture?’, ‘How to balance individuality as a person and professional?’ and ‘How to keep your organisation growing?’

While expressing his delight to be a part of the summit, Bhasker Agnihotri, a management student opined, “Events like these motivate us to do better. A simple interaction with corporate managers exposes us to a larger business scenario.”
Another student, Sandeep Kumar seconded Bhasker. “ I am proud to be part of this summit. It feels good to be among these corporate luminaries,” he said.

Highlights of the summit included cultural shows, research paper presentations, case study presentations, a business quiz, business debate, stock simulation and an ad mad show.  The summit concluded with a live concert by Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, who kept the audience captivated with his hit songs Suraj Hua Madhyam, Yeh Dil and Kal Hona Ho.
