An Italian national was arrested for carrying 4.2 kg of heroin worth Rs 4 crore at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday, airport officials said.
Shantini Simone was arrested after airport officials found the banned item in his steel trunk just before check-in.
“He was about to take a Thai Airways flight. He has been handed over to the customs department,” official said.
