“They are day dreaming that if the UPA falls short of numbers, then JD(S) can grab ministerial berths by extending support,” Dhananjay Kumar said.
Tuesday’s developments had exposed that the father and the son had not only betrayed the Third Front parties but also the people who had trusted the JD(S), he said.
Tacit understanding
It has also given credence to the BJP’s stand that the JD(S) always had a tacit understanding with the Congress in the Lok Sabha polls, he added.
On Gowda’s stand that his son’s meeting with Sonia was something to do with State politics, Dhananjay Kumar said, it was laughable.
