One-way spl trains to clear rush

South-Western Railway will run a one-way special train between Hubli and Yeshwantpur and Yeshwantpur and Ahmedabad on March 11 and 14 to clear the extra rush.

Accordingly, Hubli-Yeshwantpur One Way Express Special (06546) will depart from Hubli at 10:00 pm March 11 and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 6:40 am the next day. Enroute, the Special will pass through Haveri, Davangere, Arsikere and Tumkur.

Similarly, Yeshwantpur and Ahmedabad (06545) will depart from Yeshwantpur at 10:45 am on March 14 and arrive at Ahmedabad at 7:20 pm the next day.

Enroute, the special will pass through Arsikere, Davangere, Hubli, Gadag, Bijapur, Solapur, Pune, Kalyan, Surat, Vadodara and Anand stations.

Southern Railway will run a weekly summer express special trains between Tirunelveli-Mysore-Tirunelveli (06040/06039) for 13 trips in each direction.

Tirunelveli-Mysore weekly express summer special will depart from Tirunelveli at 2:00 pm on Fridays from April 6 till June 29 and arrive in Mysore at 7:10 am on Saturdays.

En route, the special will pass through Vanchi Maniyachchi, Virudunagar, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul junction, Erode, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Bangalore and Mandya.

In the return direction, (06039) Mysore Tirunelveli weekly express special will depart from Mysore at 8:10 pm on Saturdays from April 7 till June 30 and arrive at Tirunelveli 12:30 pm on Sundays.

Some trains will be regulated at Kadur and Birur on Sunday as the SWR has permitted line block. Shimoga Town-Mysore Fast Passenger (56269) will be regulated for 75 minutes at Birur and Bangalore-Hubli Passenger (56515) will be regulated for 36 minutes.

Bangalore-Dharwad Intercity Express (12725) will be regulated for 31 minutes at Kadur. Hubli-Bangalore Passenger (56914) will also be regulated for 15 minutes at Birur.

Mital installed as patron

SWR General Manager Ashok Kumar Mital was installed as Patron, Bharat Scouts and Guides and Rashmi Mital, President, SWR Women’s Welfare Organization as Vice-Patron, Bharat Scouts and Guides at a function held at Hubli recently.
