Kaiwara Block Congress President Anil Kumar said that YSR was role model for other chief ministers of the country who was popular for his pro-people ideology. His death is great loss to the country, he added. YSR had a close relationship with both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

He had his high school and higher education in Karnataka. Due to his popular policies he was elected as Andhra Pradesh’s chief minister twice, he added. His achievements as a CM is unique, he added.

Mulbagal
Taluk-level Congress workers held a meeting here on Friday to condole the death of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. Mulbagal legislator Amaresh, who presided over the condolence meet said that the nation and the party have lost a great leader in the death of Rajasekhara Reddy.

Programmes
Taluk Congress Committee president G Ramalinga Reddy said that the programmes implemented by Rajasekhara Reddy have become a role model for other states as well.
Leaders Chikkareddappa Setty, Uttanur Srinivas, G Nagaraj, R S Krishnaiah Setty, Yamanna, Neelakantegowda, Munishamigowda and others recalled the contributions of the late leader.
