Sannakki sets new record

Sannakki, from Theresian College, ran the 6 km race in 21 minutes 19.64 seconds to bag the women’s title.

She broke the record of 22:07.50 set by Smitha S of Maharaja's College.
Smitha took the silver this time, clocking 22:55.72 while Nagamma of Government Women’s College, Mandya, bagged the bronze in 27:37.93.

In the men’s 12km race, A S Harish of Basudev Somayani College reached home in 42:26.72 to pocket the gold. SMFG College’s (Kollegal) B Ravi clinched the silver (42:36.35) and B Doddapajji of JSS Arts and Science College (Gundlupet) took the bronze in 42:40.28. Government Women’s College, Mandya, claimed the women’s team title.
