<p>To express solidarity with the people of Kudankulam, various human rights organisations protested against Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant proposed in Tamil Nadu, here on Sunday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>P Venkatesan from Save Tamils Movement said that they have put forth several demands including immediate withdrawal of the Tamil Nadu cabinet resolution of March 18, which has given a nod for Kudankulam nuclear plant; to shift armed police and para-military forces deployed in the villages in the vicinity of Kudankulam; revocation of Section 144 clamped on Radhapuram taluk and immediate restoration of essential supplies; immediate release of those arrested lifting the sedition charges slapped against them and to stop inciting violence against the protestors and resume dialogue between the protesters and the government. <br /><br />Karnataka Human Rights Organisation, Karnataka Tamil Makkaliyakkam, Save Tamils Movement and Periyar Dravida Kazhagam participated in the protest.<br /></p>
