Tribute to elegance

 From the classic black and blue suits to the formal shirt, jeans and jacket combination, the men sure were in their best attire. At the same time, the women too didn’t fall far behind in their beautiful sarees, anarkalis, tunics and dresses that added to the glam factor of the evening. One couldn’t miss the striking red dress worn by Dia Bhandary. With cocktails making its rounds, the assembled guests raised a toast to the latest collection, Canali Nawab.

Paolo Canali, who flew in especially for the evening, was wearing a sherwani from the collection. “It has been a significant year of achievement for Canali and a special year of celebrations as Canali turns 75. As a tribute to the Indian culture, we are proud to present the Nawab Collection that is totally inspired by the rich, sophisticated history of the Maharajas’ era of elegance,” said Paolo.

Present on the occasion and playing perfect host at the evening was Sanjay Kapoor, who welcomed all the guests personally. The soothing music from the piano gave way to conversations that ranged from high fashion to the changing weather. This exclusive get-together saw many Canali fans come and admire the collection. While many liked the classic and simple black suits, there were a few experimentals who couldn’t resist the sky blue and gold embroidered suits.

True to its new collection, the evening was a combination of luxury, sophistication and elegance.
