Flesh trade: Arrested Bangla nationals reveal shocking facts

For innocent Bangladeshi men and women who sneak into India in search of greener pastures, flesh trade has turned a way to eke out a living, moving from one place to another including Mysore.

This startling disclosure was made by two Bangladeshi nationals who were arrested by the district police in a recent raid in Nelamangala taluk. The victims are reported to have told the investigators that they are welcomed with open hands by locals who offer them all the facilities to run the trade. 

Besides, to help infiltrators conceal their identity the locals also help them get driving licence and PAN card, besides Aadhaar unique identification number, according to a press release from the office of Superintendent of Police.

A police team led by SP R Dileep had rescued four women including one each from Bangladesh and
Nepal, in a recent raid on a lodge in Periyapatna.

In a following raid, six including four women had been rescued after raiding a lodge near Yelwal on the outskirts of the city.

The circle police inspector of Hunsur G S Gajendra Prasad who had been entrusted with the task of going deep into both the cases, interrogated a Bangladeshi woman only to acquire startling informations.

According to her a racket is actively operating in the district where only foreign girls are lured into the trade.

Acting on the informations provided, the district police reached Gangondanahalli in Nelamangala taluk near Bangalore and arrested Mohammed Sajjad Khan alias Mohammed Green Khan, 25 and Babu alias Bobby Sheikh, 24. Sajjad Khan is a native of Parbi Sannakoor village, Pedoli post, Khalia taluk Nodai district and Koolna State in Bangladesh, while Bobby belongs to Veer Vishnupur, near Khalia police station, Pedoli post, Khalia taluk, Nodai district, Koolna State in the Islamic nation.

The duo had supplied Bangladeshi girls to the lodges at Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Periyapatna, besides Bangalore, Pune, Hubli and Bellary, the release added.

Dacoity foiled

Alert locals foiled a burglary bid by a gang of four dacoits in SBM layout near Bogadi in Mysore on Thursday night. According to Saraswatipuram poilce who have registered a case, the gang in a hurry to take to heels, left behind a Tata Indic a car belonging to them.
