Helpline to solve power, water problem

There is a good news for the people of Mandya district as the Chamundeshwari electricity supply corporation (Cesc) has opened helplines at taluk-level, to solve drinking water problems pertaining to failure of power connections and provide hassle-free water supply.

Control rooms will receive complaints pertaining to problems in power and drinking water supply. Public may call the following numbers if there are any problems.

Mandya taluk - Subbanna, 9448994829; Maddur taluk - Manjunath, 9448994850; Malavalli taluk - Srikanth, 9448994859; Pandavapura taluk - Parameshwarappa 9448994894; Srirangapatna taluk - Raghu, 9448994901, K R Pet tauk - Rajashekaramurthy - 9448994911 and Nagamangala taluk - Mariswamy, 9448994906 .

Cesc will be holding a vidyut adalat at deputy commissioner’s office premises on April 16 at 11 am. The meeting will discuss the grievances of public and also receive applications, said Cesc executive engineer in the release.
