Apart from causes that lead to the infection, you can also be a part of the campaign against AIDS by pressing your right palm on an equipment that records your entry. Within an hour of its opening, the expo had recorded 1,000 such impressions making for a total of 90,000 plus including the visitors in other districts of the state, where the exhibition had been already stationed.

The second compartment is meant to educate visitors about steps to be taken at every stage of life, as a precautionary measure. The third bogie is dedicated to youth, who may be the victims in their fad to live life to the fullest with all the fun.

Earlier, medical education and district in-charge minister S A Ramdas inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of mayor Pushpalatha Chikkanna, ZP president Suneetha Veerappagowda, vice-president Shivaram, deputy commissioner P S Vastrad, divisional railway manager Vinod Kumar and others.
