Thousands join BJP in S'pur

Party has a set a target of one lakh in the taluk

He was speaking after inaugurating the membership drive , organised by the party at Rayalpadu in Srinivaspur on Wednesday.
Nearly 60,000 persons have registered their names with the party which has set a target of one lakh new members in the taluk, he said.

He exuded confidence in winning the forthcoming Zilla Panchayat elections.
BJP State unit vice-president Ashwathnarayana, who presided over the programme, said the BJP strives hard for the welfare of people belonging to all strata of society. He said the membership drive is a part of the slew of programmes to strengthen the party the party in the district and State.

District BJP General Secretary Jayaramareddy, Taluk President B V Shivareddy, General Secretary Munireddy, Secretary Kotruguli Narayanaswamy, leaders Vasu, Rayalpad Narayanaswamy, Laxmanreddy, Sugutur Shankar, Sudhakar and Padmanabh were present on the occasion.
