<p>The state government is conducting a training programme to organise street plays in order to improve awareness among public about Sakala, the Citizens Services Guarantee Act.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Artistes from eight districts under Mysore region participated in the training programme held at Vivekananda Leadership Training Institute on the outskirts of the city at Hebbal Industrial Area.<br /><br />Rangayana artiste Manjunath Belakere inaugurated the programme. He said the responsibility of actors is more in street plays. Actors need to be spontaneous and have to act in such a way that they interact with the audience. <br /><br />He also urged the artistes to gain more information about Sakala before taking the scheme to the public. Otherwise, they would face embarrassment, he added.<br /><br />Sakala was recently introduced by the state government in order to provide services within a stipulated time frame.<br /><br />Training camp director Ravindranath Sirivara said artistes and public should be able to understand the schemes being offered by the government.<br />information department deputy director A R Prakash was present.<br /></p>
