<p>Judge A N Venugopala Gowda in his interim order has directed the state not to implement the government order. <br /><br />The Government order dated April 21, had stated that with the exception of students whose parents are transferred, no other student could seek a transfer to other colleges. An appeal had been filed by Karnataka Minorities Institutions Management Federation in this regard. <br /><br />The judge also stated that the students who have given an undertaking in accordance with the Government order would be subject to the final order of the Court.<br /><br />Order on LPG kits stayed<br /><br />The Government order making it mandatory to install LPG kits in autorickshaws in Dakshina Kannada district has been stayed by the High Court.<br /><br />Justice A N Venugopala Gowda who heard a petition filed by BMS Auto Drivers and Owners Association gave a stay on the October 7 order. The petitioners said that were no sufficient gas filling stations in Puttur and this had been brought to the notice of the Government by the Regional Transport Office. <br /><br />Despite this, the government had issued the order and further said that in case the autos were not installed with LPG kits, then the drivers’ license would not be renewed. <br />After hearing their arguments, the Court granted a stay on the Government <br />order.</p>
