<p>Gandhi, 29, will be a keynote speaker at Indo American Charity Foundation's 21st Annual Gala fundraiser to be held on Saturday.<br /><br />IACF is a non-profit organisation that raises funds for various humanitarian endeavours helping those in need of health, education and human services.<br />The name of Varun Gandhi has generated a lot interest among the people here, especially donors who are curious to meet the son of BJP MP Menaka Gandhi and late Sanjay Gandhi, the organisers said.<br /><br />The organisers expect the gala to be housefull and hope to raise huge funds through the event which has otherwise been slow this year due to the current recession.<br />"The need for donations has increased dramatically and we strive to meet our fundraising goal this year, believing that we will meet the needs," said IACF President Rachel Varghese.<br /><br />"There's no mistaking the lure of the Gandhi name, the family generated enough interest similar to what I had seen here in US with the Kennedy family," said Varghese.</p>
