<p>Three persons were killed, two on the spot, as the motorcycle they were riding collied head on with a tempo on Mysore road near Mallanamule on Wednesday night.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased have been identified as Shadakshari (25) of Basavanagudi in the town, Kumar (26) of Devirammanahalli — both pillion riders — and Srikantamurthy (30) — who was riding — of Goolipura in Chamarajanagar district.<br /><br />The mishap occurred when Srikantamurthy tried to overtake a minibus and collided with the tempo coming from the opposite direction. <br /><br />While the pillion riders were killed on the spot, Srikantamurthy succumbed to the injuries on the way to a hospital. The tempo driver is absconding. Rural police have registered a case.<br /></p>
