Curtains will soon fall on “Hunnime Haadu,” a regular monthly cultural programme organised by Adima, for the past three years.

Koteganahalli Ramaiah, the president of the Adima has said that neither the district administration nor the Kannada and Culture Department was supporting the activities of his organisation and it had become difficult to organise programmes in the lack of financial support.

He said even a few helping hands supporting the organisation were fading away
slowly.

The organisation had already cancelled “Chukki Mela,” the summer camp organised for children atop Teralli hills.

However, G G Nagaraj, the district president of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat said the Parishat was ready to support the activities of Adima and it should continue such cultural programmes.
