<p>Within 13 hours, motorcycle-borneassailants snatched three gold chains from women at R K Puram in south Delhi on Tuesday.<br /><br />Sector 3 at 6:30 am<br /><br /></p>.<p>The first incident happened with an elderly woman, Savitri Devi, of R K Puram sector 3. Victim’s daughter Neelam Singh told police around 6:30 am that she along with her mother came out of her house for some work. <br /><br />“While we were crossing Africa Avenue, a youth, aged around 25, came from behind and snatched my mother’s gold chain and ran towards a Pulsar bike on which a youth was already waiting forhim. He hopped on the bike and fled from the spot,” she told police.<br /><br />Sector 12 at 6:15 pm<br /><br />The second incident of crime happened with Veena Sampat, 50, of R K Puram sector 9.<br /><br />She told police that around 6.15 pm she was going to Central government health scheme dispensary in R K Puram sector 12.<br /><br />“When I reached near Gauri Shankar Temple, two persons, aged around 25, came on a Pulsar bike from behind and pushed me. When I fell down, one of them snatched my gold chain and fled away,” she told police in her complaint.<br /><br />Sector 1 at 7 pm <br /><br />The third incident took place with Pinky Mahanta Nath of Delhi Development Authority flats at Munirka. She told police that around 7 pm, she hired an autorickshaw for Sarojini Nagar.<br /><br />“When the auto reached sector 1 and stopped at a signal, a youth around 25, came from behind and snatched my gold chain. He put his hand from the broken glass of the autorickshaw and snatched the my chain,” she told police.<br /><br />In her complaint, she also said the youth ran towards a bike on which his accomplice was waiting, boarded it and fled from the spot.<br /><br />Police have registered a case of snatching in all the three incidents.<br /></p>
