<p>KRS police have arrested a rape accused, who was absconding for four months, on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The arrested is Narayana of Ramanathapura, Arakalgud taluk in Hassan district. He has been accused of raping a woman after promising to marry her.<br /><br /> It is learnt that Narayana was working at a bakery near Belagola Paper Mills Circle and had allegedly taken the victim to Bettapura on the pretext of marrying her, assaulted her and absconded. <br /><br />The woman lodged a complaint with KRS police, who arrested him at K M Doddi in Maddur taluk. The accused has been remanded to judicial custody.</p>
