The Justice R G Vaidyanathan Commission, constituted to probe the March 2 violence at the City Civil Court complex, has extended the date for filing affidavits to June 30.
The Commission stated that the police had sought more time for filing the affidavits as they were still in the process of collecting information and the government was yet to appoint an advocate for the police.
It has asked the people concerned to submit affidavits at the office of the Commission at the Balabrooie Guesthouse on Palace Road.
