JOIN USZardari will meet leaders from various countries as well as officials of the UN during the 64th General Assembly session. He will also attend a ceremony to honour former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
The president's delegation included Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin and Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
Zardari will co-host a summit-level meeting of the Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FODP) with US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown aimed at helping the country to overcome the economic and security challenges there.
More than a dozen countries including Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, are invited to the FODP meeting Sep 24 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Zardari will also address the Fourth Global Creative Leadership Summit of Louise Blouin Foundation that will confer an award on Benazir Bhutto.
