The poor man's Ranbir

Vijay Badlani,who is currently acting in the serial Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajana, has been getting his fair share of the limelight these days.

Recently, a television channel aired a promo in which Vijay Badlani has been cast in Ranbir Kapoor’s grungy ‘Rockstar’ get up — and this has created quite a stir since Vijay looks quite a bit like the Bollywood heart-throb in the promo. Vijay has also managed to bag a role in a short film, directed by Rajshree Ojha,who is known for movies like Aisha, Chaurahen and Badger. The short film will be telecast in July. Vijay Badlani confirmed this news but declined to comment on the role he is playing in the movie.

“When I get good offers, I act. Since I have signed a non-disclosure contract with the production house, I cannot let you know more about it unless the producer or director officially announces it,” says the coy actor.
