<p>World No.1 recurve archer Deepika Kumari has joined Tata Steel as a manager in the company’s sports department. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Many eminent sportspersons have been employed by Tata Steel and they include Bachendri Pal, the first Indian woman to summit Mt. Everest, Arjuna and National Adventure Award recipient; Dibyendu Barua, chess Grandmaster and Arjuna awardee; Charles Borromeo, Padma Shri and Arjuna awardee; Bagicha Singh, Arjuna awardee; and Jayanta Talukdar, another archer representing India at the London Olympics, besides Deepika.<br />Born in 1994, Deepika joined Tata Archery Academy in 2008 and has since honed her skills there. She is one of India's biggest medal prospect in London. </p>
