Manohar, Ullal shine for B'lore Zone

Abhinav Manohar and Nihal Ullal hit centuries in Bangalore Zone’s drawn encounter against Tumkur Zone in the Dell-KSCA SA Srinivasan Memorial tournament at Alur.

Batting first, Tumkur posted 243 all out from 78.3 overs, thanks largely to Shreyas Y Mova’s patient 107 as KP Rohan ran through their line-up with a brilliant six for 64. Bangalore, in reply, made 439 for five in 75.1 overs as Manohar hit a 164-ball 125 and Ullal cracked an unbeaten 128 that came off just 96 balls.

By virtue of their first innings lead, Bangalore walked away with three points while Tumkur had one point.

In another game, President’s XI dew with Dharward Zone.
