A detailed report regarding the hair snipping incident at Oxford English School at Nandini Layout will be ready by Saturday, said G Kumar Naik, the secretary for Primary and Secondary Education.

A report submitted by officials stated that the students were not given uniforms and books as they were enrolled to the schools late.

However, a detailed inquiry into the hair-snipping incident is being conducted, Naik said.
The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has written to the secretary of the Education department and the commissioner of public instruction to submit a report regarding the action taken against the school.

The commission has also written to the officials in the department seeking action against G S Sharma, former president of Karnataka Unaided Schools’ Management Association (KUSMA) for his discriminatory comments against children from the economically weaker section, comparing them to ‘sewage water.’

The commission has registered a complaint in both the incidents.
