Teachers honoured

More than 200 old students from the 1970s and 1980s batch of St Patrick’s School gathered to convey their gratitude by felicitating the teachers of yesteryears, at the school auditorium recently.

The teachers who were felicitated were Rodrigues, Ananthu, Philips, Prof Srikanta Swamy, Shankar Hegde, Agnes Lawrence, Razack, CL George, Sripathi, Noronha, Smith, Marie D’Souza, Ashley and Pinto. The oldest student of the school, Das (aged 84), was also felicitated.

Manager of the School Rev Fr Sagyanathan said, apart from offering education till Class X, the school provided free coaching class for students, who failed SSLC, from other institutions as well.  Principal of St Patrick, Thomas said, efforts were on to make a model school, by not only making the students score high percentage but also inculcating in them discipline and good attitude.
