Saroja, 36, was married to Vikhyath, an electrical contactor, for 17 years. <br /><br /></p>.<p> According to police, Vikhyath had a verbal duel with his wife on Sunday afternoon as she had not prepared the lunch. <br /><br />He went to his friend’s house and returned home around 12 midnight. <br /><br />There was no response from inside when he knocked the door. <br /><br />He went back to his friend’s house and returned on Monday morning. <br /><br />Since his wife did not open the door after repeated knocks, Vikhyat broke open the door only to see his wife hanging from the ceiling. <br /><br /> The couple has a son and a daughter, studying at Sringeri, police said.<br /></p>
