A candidate, Ravi Shankar, who appeared in the photograph related to Kuvempu University mass copying report on September 15, has clarified that he was not involved in the alleged episode and had actually switched off his mobile phone on the directions of the invigilator at the examination hall.
Shankar is currently employed with a business organisation here and pursuing his graduate studies from Kuvempu University through correspondence.
