In the revised pay structure, the applicable pay band is 15600-39100 with an academic grade pay (AGP) of Rs 6000. His/her date of increment is August 1 every year. The pay in the revised pay band shall be fixed as follows:<br />Basic pay — Rs 8275<br />Pay in the Pay band as per the fitment table<br />AGP applicable — Rs 6000<br />Revised basic pay — Rs 21600<br />He/she shall be fixed at a basic pay of Rs 21600 and re-designated as assistant professor. The next date of annual increment shall be 1st July 2006 and pay after increment is Rs 22250.<br /><br />Illustration 2 <br />A professor is drawing a basic pay of Rs 20450 as on 1.07.2005 in the existing scale of pay of Rs16400-22400. In the revised pay structure, the applicable pay band is 37400-67000 with an academic grade pay of Rs 10000. His/her date of increment is 1st July every year. The pay in the revised pay band shall be fixed as follows:<br />Basic pay — Rs 20450<br />Pay in the pay band (as per fitment table) — Rs 46050<br />AGP applicable — Rs 10000<br />Revised basic pay — Rs 56050<br />He/she shall be fixed at a basic pay of Rs 56050. The next date of annual increment shall be July 1, 2006, and pay after increment is Rs 57740.</p>
