<p>Targeting Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vinod Rai again, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today alleged that Rai had violated the oath of secrecy.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“After Rai assumed the office of Comptroller and Auditor General, its reports started leaking.<br /><br /> Before him, Comptroller and Auditor General never made public the issues of confrontation with the Government in this way,” he alleged, saying that Rai had violated the oath of secrecy.<br /><br />The Congress general secretary reiterated his allegation that he suspected Rai to have political ambitions, like his predecessor T N Chaturvedi.<br /><br />The CAG arrived at the figure of Rs 1.86 lakh crore as the loss in coal allocation on the basis of “Opportunity Cost Audit”, he said.<br /><br />In any case, Comptroller and Auditor General was not a probe agency, he added. <br /></p>
