Bowlers help Bangalore Zone pocket under-19 title

A good bowling performance helped Bangalore Zone defeat President’s XI on the basis of first innings lead and and clinch the Dell-KSCA inter-zonal under-19 title here on Friday.

 
Resuming at their overnight score of 210 for five, President’s XI were bowled out for 231 in 80.2 overs handing Bangalore Zone a first-innings lead of 68 runs. In their second essay, Bangalore ended with 238 for five in 66 overs with an overall lead of 306 runs to claim the title.
