Volkswagen announces new features in Polo and Vento

Europe’s leading car maker, Volkswagen, recently announced the introduction of its popular carline the Polo and the Vento with all new value-added features.

The company has already started sales of the refreshed carlines beginning from the second half of September 2012, through all its 108 dealerships across the country. The Polo and Vento are the volume models of the Volkswagen brand.

The refreshed Polo includes new features such as black headlamps, new design alloy wheels, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, gearshift knob and handbrake lever handle, RCD 310 music system with USB connectivity, speed sensing volume control for music system and Bluetooth device, among others.

The sedan, Vento, now features new design alloy wheels, black headlamps, 4 speakers and navigation system with rear view camera and Bluetooth. The fully loaded Polo Highline will now be purchased at an attractive price-point of Rs 6.94 lakh, while the Vento Highline is priced at Rs 9.89 lakh (both ex-showroom New Delhi).

Commenting on the roll-out, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited Managing Director (Volkswagen Passenger Cars) Arvind Saxena said, “The introduction of new features in the Polo and the Vento will further excite the customers as both the carlines will offer much more value now,” adding, “The introduction of these features will pave the path for higher volumes for these carlines.”
