The three days of Unmaad will feature contests in music, drama, dance, fine arts and literary events.

Some of the best professional rock bands in the country will be participating in the B-School of Rock competition on October 3. Other mega-contests include the personality competition Mr and Ms Unmaad. On October 3, IIM will host the melodious trio of Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Freshers’ Day

Freshers’ Day at the MS Ramaiah College of Hotel Management is always a day that is anticipated with great joy. This year, the theme Desi Beats, had the students in strange attire that added to the merriment and laughter all around.

An expert panel of judges, comprising students of the higher classes, revelled in putting the participants through several tasks and rounds of questions that tested the wit, communication, attitude and the sportive spirit.

Out of all the freshers, who vied with each other to be chosen Mr and Ms Fresher, the ones who walked away with the interesting and ingenious crowns were Saad Pasha and Beauti Gogoi.

There was also an award for the Best and Most Hilarious Attire, that went to Prerana and Arayam. The staff and students of the college enjoyed a hearty meal at the end of the day.
