BHEL eyes CIS nations

BHEL has bagged contract worth Rs 270 crore from Grodnoenergo, in Belarus, for supply electrical equipment for the 120 MW cogeneration power plant proposed to be set up at Grodno, a BHEL spokesperson said. BHEL has also signed an MoU with TGR, Hungary for exploring opportunities for conventional boilers and high capacity boilers in European and CIS countries.

The Gas Turbine Generator set with dedicated auxiliaries, compressors, heat recovery boiler, boiler auxiliaries and automatic process control system for the project will be supplied from BHEL’s manufacturing units at Hyderabad, Tiruchirapally, Ranipet and Bangalore, respectively.
