An array of additional services will soon come under the government’s flagship scheme ‘Sakaala’ that delivers services within a stipulated time.

These include — filling up potholes, removal of  solid waste materials from roadside, sanction of site plan in BDA layouts, possession certificate from BDA and registration of properties, to name a few.

The State Cabinet, last week, had cleared the additional services, that cover 14 different departments, including revenue, DPAR, commerce and industries, transport, social welfare, PWD and forest and environment.

This will come into effect from November 1, 2012.

At present, the government is providing 151 services under Sakaala.
