<p>Three workers of the Jindal Steel Works factory were killed on Sunday when the pipe on the conveyor belt carrying sponge iron snapped and hot iron fell on them.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The accident occurred at unit 2 of the factory near Toranagal near here. R S Veerabhadra, 23, resident of Udegola of Siraguppa taluk, Hanumantha Gowda, 22, of Kushtagi in Koppal district, and Shashibhushan Patrao, 21, a native of Odisha, are the dead. Erriswamy, of Talur in Sandur taluk, was seriously injured and was admitted into Sanjeevini Hospital on the factory premises.<br /></p>
